Two years ago, when my wife announced she was enrolling our 5 yr old son in Rouleau's Tae Kwon Do, I couldn't have known how much our lives would change.

Curiosity got the better of me and I attended my son's introductory class. I listened with a smile as I heard the senior instructor and owner of Rouleau's Tae Kwon Do describe what was expected of the young students standing at attention before him. Mr. Don Rouleau spoke of patience, perseverance and fortitude; of truth and indomitable spirit; of each child's responsibility to respect their family, their instructors and their fellow students - the same things expected of his older students. As he passed out his checklist of daily jobs to be done at home, he emphasized the importance of routine and accomplishment based on personal merit, both in class and at home. I clearly recall how elated my wife and I were as we returned home that evening.

This school with its underlying moral philosophy quickly became an important part of our family's quality of life, as much a part of it as our religious and personal involvements. My wife, daughter, son and I are all students at this fine school now, sharing our lives with and learning from all the dedicated folks there. I recommend Rouleau's Tae Kwon Do to anyone seeking 1st-class martial-arts instruction and a wish to share time with some genuinely fine folks.
